We have a page dedicated to all City election information. Check it out under My Community - City Elections. The City's General Election is scheduled for May 4, 2019. Applications for Place on the Ballot can be accepted starting on January 16, 2019 to February 15, 2019 - Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at the City Secretary's office in City Hall.
On the City's election page, you can find the application form plus the initial Candidate packet with the letter outlining the steps, requirements for council position/mayor and the required ethics forms.
After candidates have turned in the application forms, the candidate will receive the second candidate packet with additional forms and information. The packet is available on the website however it is over 260 pages long so be prepared if you print it out at home.

The General Election in May 2019 will be for Mayor, Council Position 1 and Council Position 2.
