April 22, 2021, 6:00 PM @ Cleveland Senior Citizens Center
National Crime Victims’ Rights Week is April 18 through April 24, 2021. This special commemoration honoring crime victims, encompassing the theme, “SUPPORT VICTIMS, BUILD TRUST, ENGAGE COMMUNITIES” will be observed not only by the Liberty County District Attorney’s Office, Liberty County Attorney’s Office, Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Bridgehaven Children’s Advocacy Center, BACA, MADD, CASA, and Family Time Crisis & Counseling Center, but also thousands of victim service and allied professional organizations and agencies across the United States.
April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. We hope to emphasize the gravity of the problem of child abuse and neglect. We also hope to remind all of our citizenry that the responsibility for promoting healthy families and preventing child abuse lies with each and every one of us.
